Moscow’s list of those it wants to prosecute includes former ICC President Piotr Hofmanski and former court prosecutor Karim Khan.

The Russian Prosecutor General’s Office has sent a request to the Dutch authorities to detain and extradite nine representatives of the International Criminal Court (ICC). Among them are judges involved in the decision to issue an arrest warrant for Russian dictator Vladimir Putin , according to Russian media.
It is noted that the list of those Moscow wants to prosecute includes former ICC President Piotr Hofmanski and former court prosecutor Karim Khan. The Russian Prosecutor General’s Office claims they allegedly unlawfully prosecuted Russian citizens.
The Russian side also claims that the ICC leadership allegedly instructed judges to issue arrest warrants for Russian officials without legal grounds.
In 2025, the Moscow City Court found nine ICC officials guilty in absentia of charges of “unlawful prosecution, unlawful detention, and assault on internationally protected persons.” They were sentenced to between 3.5 and 15 years in prison and placed on the international wanted list.
