BREAKING NEWS: Russia attacked Zaporizhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions with Cyclones: 10 people died, some were injured

Residential buildings, industrial infrastructure, warehouses, and a store were damaged.

As a result of massive enemy attacks in Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhia regions, 10 people were killed and 26 were injured. According to the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine, on the evening of August 10 and the night of August 11, Russian troops massively attacked Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhia regions.

Four adults and a 15-year-old boy were killed in shelling in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Seven more people were injured, including three minors.

In Zaporizhia, according to the report, the enemy carried out a massive combined strike with missiles and guided bombs – six people were killed: five men and a woman. According to the prosecutor’s office, as of 9 am, 19 people were injured.

It is added that the attacks damaged residential buildings, industrial infrastructure facilities, non-residential and garage premises, a shop, and warehouse buildings.

An investigation has been launched into the fact of committing a war crime that caused the death of people (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the night of August 11 (from 18:00 on August 10), the enemy attacked Zaporizhia and Kyiv with Zircon anti-ship missiles, Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles from the Kursk, Rostov, Voronezh, and Oryol regions of the Russian Federation. Also, 120 Shahed attack UAVs (most of them jet), Gerber, and Parodia simulator drones from Russia – Kursk, Millerovo, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as from temporarily occupied Donetsk and Gvardiyske (Crimea) were launched over Ukraine.

According to the military, the main direction of the strike is Kyiv region, Zaporizhia. The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

According to preliminary data, as of 9 am, air defenses have shot down/suppressed 98 enemy Shahed, Gerbera UAVs and drones of other types in the north, south, and east of the country.

Enemy airstrikes were recorded at 21 locations, as well as downed aircraft (fragments) falling at 5 locations.
