In the morning, the Russian occupation army attacked the transport infrastructure of Odessa.

As an UNIAN correspondent reports, today at about 6:30, another air raid alert was sounded. Monitoring channelsreported that high-speed targets were approaching the Kyivsky district of Odessa and the city of Chornomorsk from the Black Sea. Soon the sounds of explosions were heard.

Subsequently, the head of the Odessa City Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, confirmed that the Russians attacked the regional center, resulting in a hit.

“As a result of the enemy attack, the territory of the transport enterprise was damaged. Buses caught fire. 4 private houses were also damaged. Previously, three men – 58, 62, and 66 years old – were injured. They were hospitalized in moderate condition,” the official detailed.

Eyewitnesses reported on social media that there were hits, including in a parking lot where buses were parked. According to monitoring channels, the city was attacked by missiles and jet drones.

According to the press service of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Odessa region, as a result of the Russian attack, a large-scale fire broke out – the fire immediately engulfed 6 buses, and the blast wave and debris damaged another 11 buses and 6 cars.

Rescuers have now contained the flames, preventing them from spreading to a larger area. It is also known that the building of a local sanatorium was damaged.

According to preliminary information, four people were injured in the attack, the State Emergency Service added.

The consequences of the occupiers’ attack on Odessa

Spokesperson for the Odessa Regional Prosecutor’s Office Inna Verba told UNIAN that information about the victims is being clarified.

Regarding yesterday’s evening attack by the occupiers, Verba clarified that it is already known about the damage to the roof and broken windows in two apartments of a 16-story residential building, and the roof of a hypermarket was also damaged. “A 51-year-old man was injured in yesterday’s attack. He was hospitalized,” Verba said.

Russian attacks on Odessa

As UNIAN reported, on the evening of July 12, the Russian army attacked the Odessa region with strike drones, one of which hit a high-rise building. Explosions were heard in the regional center itself.

Later, the head of the Odessa OVA, Oleg Kiper, reported that the Russians attacked the Odessa region with strike UAVs.
