On the night of September 8, the Russian occupiers struck Kyiv with ballistic missiles and drones, resulting in damage to residential buildings and an educational institution in several areas, and injuries.

Later, the KMVA reported that the consequences of the attack are also in the Podilskyi district. There, garages and cars caught fire. A warehouse fire is being recorded.

In total, according to the State Emergency Service, destruction and fires occurred in at least five districts of the city.

The KMVA reported that as of 06:30, information about the dead became available. “Unfortunately, there is also information about 2 dead as a result of an enemy attack,” the report says.

According to the State Emergency Service, the number of victims has now increased from 6 to 10 people.

As detailed by the city’s mayor, Vitaliy Klitschko, 5 injured people were hospitalized, two of them in serious condition.

In addition, a hit was recorded near the Tarasa Shevchenko metro station. The explosion was so powerful that letters fell off the facade of the station.
