The enemy attacked a crowded place in the middle of the day.

Russian military personnel attacked a shopping mall in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, with drones, resulting in one death and many injuries.

Updated at 17:15 . According to the head of the Dnipropetrovsk OVA, Oleksandr Ganzha, two people were killed and 15 were injured as a result of the enemy attack. 

“Stores inside the shopping center are on fire,” the official said.

Earlier, the head of the city’s Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul,  reported that the Russians attacked the largest shopping complex in Kryvyi Rih with an attack UAV.

“There is a fire, visually there are many victims. An emergency rescue operation has been launched,” he noted.

The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, Mykola Lukashuk, clarified that the attacked shopping center is located in the very center of the city. 

“In broad daylight. In a place where there are always many people. Where there are families. Where there are children. This is deliberate terror against peaceful people,” he said.

According to  Ganzha, there are injuries as a result of the attack. The shopping center was damaged and caught fire.

Updated at 5:46 p.m. The number of injured has increased to 50, including six children, said  Oleksandr Ganzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Emergency Management Office.

As stated by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk OVA, Oleksandr Ganzha, 21 wounded are in serious condition, including one child. 

Updated at 6:19 p.m. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy responded to the enemy attack on the shopping center , noting that drones attacked the civilian facility twice. 

“The Russians struck an absolutely cynical and despicable blow at an ordinary shopping center in Kryvyi Rih. The strike drones were launched in two waves: half an hour after the first hit and fire, there was a second strike on the rescue services,” the president said.

Zelensky called this attack a terrorist attack and called on the international community to respond with real pressure on the aggressor.

Updated at 6:39 p.m. The Russian strike has already claimed the lives of six people in Kryvyi Rih.

“A man who was seriously wounded during an enemy attack has just died in the hospital,” said Oleksandr Ganzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Defense Command.

 Updated at 7:21 p.m. According to the head of the city’s Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul, as of 7:00 p.m., 103 people were injured, including 11 children. 

“27 of them are in serious condition, including three children. One 14-year-old girl is being transferred to the regional children’s hospital by the intensive care unit. She has a traumatic brain injury,” he said.

Updated at 8:00 PM . The death toll in Kryvyi Rih has risen to 14 people, reported the head of the OVA Ganzha.

“The number of injured due to the Russian strike on Kryvyi Rih has increased to 121.”Among them, 22 are children. 29 people are in serious condition, including five children,” he added.
