Three rescuers of the State Emergency Service (SES) died while eliminating the consequences of the night attack of the occupiers on Kiev. Another 9 rescuers were injured.

The Minister of Internal Affairs Igor Klimenko reported this on Telegram. “In Kiev, during the liquidation of the consequences of enemy strikes, three rescuers of the State Emergency Service were killed. They worked under fire to help people. Another 9 emergency workers were injured. Some are seriously injured, doctors are fighting for their lives,” Klimenko detailed.

Also, 5 rescuers were injured while extinguishing a fire in Ternopil region. All are receiving medical assistance.

“In Ukraine as a whole, 3 people were killed and about 40 more were wounded as a result of the Russian attack tonight,” Klimenko specified.

The State Emergency Service named the deceased rescuers. “On this day, the large family of the State Emergency Service suffered an unspeakable loss. As a result of the terrible Russian attack, three firefighters-rescuers died: Pavel Ezgor, Daniil Skadin, Andrey Remenny,” the State Emergency Service said in a statement.

The department shared that the Russians took the lives of people who were the first to rush to eliminate the consequences of the terrible blow. “People who went out on regular duty, as always – in combat readiness. Before going to work, they kissed and hugged their wives and children… And never returned…”, – the State Emergency Service wrote.

Strike on Ukraine

Russia launched a combined missile and drone attack last night . Civilian infrastructure, residential buildings, cars, and subway tracks between Darnitsa and Levoberezhna stations were damaged in the capital as a result of falling debris and hits.

In Lutsk, the roof of one of the apartment buildings was damaged, many windows in apartment buildings were broken, commercial properties and private cars were damaged.

In Ternopil there were hits on industrial facilities and infrastructure objects.
