Putin said that if the West and Ukraine refuse to talk, then “Russia will achieve the liberation of historical lands by military means.”
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has said that Russia will not abandon its goals of seizing territory in Ukraine and will achieve them through diplomatic or military means.
“We would prefer to eliminate the root causes of the conflict through diplomacy, but if they refuse to talk to us, Russia will achieve the liberation of historical lands by military means,” Putin said during a speech at a meeting of the Russian Defense Ministry’s board.
He also stated that Russia has the ability to increase the pace of its offensive in key areas.
“The occupied positions, the bridgeheads created in recent months, and, of course, the unique tactical and operational experience gained in battles in breaking through the enemy’s deep defenses make it possible to increase the pace of the offensive in strategically important directions,” he said.
Putin also stated that the Lishchina missile system will be put on combat duty by the end of the year.

Ukraine’s European allies aren’t going to make him shit himself. Unless :
We form a new CANZUK confederation, move into a wartime economy, augment the confederation with Ukraine and Norway, fully integrate our militaries and intel-sharing and move into Ukraine. We could incorporate any other countries that wanted to volunteer too.
Once achieved, we could embark on a mass recruitment program of mercs from almost anywhere else in the world.
We could start recruiting “criminal battalions” too, why not? A good way to relieve pressure on the prison service.
Of course, with this massive commitment, we would demand all fit Ukrainian males from the diaspora to mobilize too.
