Putin obviously wants to continue the war, the American president said.

US President Donald Trump has set a new deadline for Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to reach a deal on the war. Russia now has 10 days to do so.

This statement was made during Trump’s conversation with the press, the audio recording of which was broadcast on the White House website. In particular, he was asked when he would impose sanctions against Russia.

“In ten days. We’re going to impose tariffs and stuff, and I don’t know if it’s going to affect Russia, because Putin obviously wants to continue the war, but we’re going to impose tariffs and secondary sanctions. It may or may not affect them, but it’s possible,” the American leader said.

Trump had previously given Russia 50 days, but seeing that there was no progress, he began talking about 10-12 days to conclude an agreement. When asked whether he had received any messages regarding Russia’s intentions, the US president said no.

“No, I have not received, I have not received any answer. It is frustrating. I used to tell you that 5,000 people die a week. Now 7,000 people die a week. Mostly Ukrainian and Russian soldiers. But civilians also die from bombs falling on their heads. It is a disgusting war,” he said.

At the same time, Trump said he was not concerned that oil markets could fall if sanctions were imposed against Russia.

“We have so much oil in this country that we’re just going to increase our reserves even more. I mean, oil is pretty low right now. We’re going to increase it even more,” the US president said.

That depends on how much they have been watered down. Meanwhile, Ukraine are applying their own sanctions. Aeroflot is out of action for the forseeable future, and rumour has it an even bigger attack is coming in the next few days.

    • This is part of that war w/o bullets I commented about, more cyber attacks, target Putins accounts, etc – thatll get their attention, and quick!

Taco is brilliant for seeing this.
My dog is laughing his ass off right now.
