BREAKING NEWS: Occupiers struck a passenger bus in the Sumy region: a child was among the injured.

The bus, which was heading towards Sumy, burned to the ground.

Russians carried out a drone strike on a passenger minibus in the Sumy region , with a child among the injured. This was reported by Oleg Grigorov, Chairman of the Sumy Regional State Administration and Head of the Regional Military Administration.

According to him, a Russian drone hit a minibus on the highway near the Nikolaev rural community.

“The enemy targeted passenger transport—people, in fact. Five people were initially wounded, including a minor. One person is in serious condition,” the official emphasized.

All victims, the head of the OVA noted, were quickly evacuated from the scene. However, the minibus in question, which was traveling toward Sumy, burned to the ground.

As Grigorov emphasized, public transport was not supposed to operate on the section of the highway where the impact occurred, as other routes were designated for passenger transport.

All circumstances of the incident are currently being investigated.

Eyewitnesses on social media reported that the bus was struck near the village of Postolnoye. The passenger vehicle was likely attacked by a Molniya drone, according to eyewitnesses.
