The city’s mayor reported that four businesses were damaged in the attack.
Novorossiysk , home to over 260,000 people, has been left without water supply after a massive Ukrainian attack, the Russian Autonomous Heat and Power Company (ATEK) reported .
“As a result of the UAV attack, the city’s cold water supply main pipelines were damaged. Currently, the supply of cold water to Novorossiysk has been completely stopped,” ATEK writes.
The company added that due to the lack of cold water necessary for the operation of thermal energy equipment, ATEK also stopped supplying hot water throughout the city.
Residents were promised to restore water supply after “the technical possibility of starting the equipment appears.”
Novorossiysk Mayor Andriy Kravchenko reported that four enterprises, in particular, were damaged as a result of the drone attack.
One of the drone targets was the Novorossiysk grain terminal. Smoke rose above the facility after the strikes, and nearby Magistralnaya Street was flooded with water due to damage to a pipeline.
