Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Russia and Hungary have a “common problem” regarding the situation of their minorities in Ukraine, and suggested working together to resolve it.
He said this in an interview with the Hungarian publication Magyar Nemzet, Censor.NET reports .
Lavrov repeated the Kremlin’s usual theses about the “persecution of Russian-speakers” in Ukraine, and also spoke about the “forced Ukrainization” of other national minorities – Hungarians, Romanians, Poles, Bulgarians, Armenians, Belarusians, and Greeks.
“Budapest is well aware of this problem. Now Russia and Hungary are openly speaking out in defense of their compatriots. And we can join forces on this issue,” the Russian Foreign Minister said.

Not to mention within the countries as well. As far as I know there are zero Ukrainian schools or churches in either Hungary or Mordor. Just a bit of hypocrisy here…
