Russian occupiers attacked  a power facility in Kyiv, resulting in widespread power outages in several districts of the capital.

As Ukrenergo reported on its Telegram channel, assessment of the damage and emergency recovery operations will begin immediately after the air raid siren is lifted. Meanwhile, power engineers are already restoring power to the affected consumers using backup systems.

“We ask Kyiv residents who currently have electricity: please limit the use of high-power electrical appliances. Reducing the load on the grid will allow for a more rapid restoration of stable power supply in all areas of the capital,” the company urged.

At the same time, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko noted that Russians continue to attack energy infrastructure.

“A high-voltage power line has been damaged. Water pressure in the system on both the right and left banks is low. Emergency crews are already working,” the mayor wrote.
