BREAKING NEWS: Kravchenko submitted his resignation from the position of Prosecutor General

Kravchenko stated that this decision is political.

Prosecutor General of Ukraine Ruslan Kravchenko has submitted his resignation from his position. He announced his decision on Facebook .

“This is a political decision. And I made it consciously. I do not want the position of Prosecutor General to be used as a tool of political confrontation. My position on the charges remains unchanged,” Kravchenko wrote.

He also thanked his colleagues who conscientiously do their work. Kravchenko specifically mentioned those who represent the prosecution in courts, work with victims, document Russian crimes, and defend the interests of the state.

“Your work should in no way be devalued. I thank the President of Ukraine and the Verkhovna Rada for their trust, and I ask you to accept my resignation,” he added.
