During the massive Russian attack in Kyiv and the region, 14 people were killed. Nearly 60 more residents were injured, including 5 children.

“About 30 residential buildings in Kyiv were significantly damaged. In Podilskyi district, a missile strike destroyed part of an entrance section. Unfortunately, 5 people were killed, and more than 30 were injured. In Darnytskyi district, a missile hit the yard between buildings. There, the attack claimed the lives of 6 residents. Among the 28 rescued people are two 4-year-old children. Rescuers continue to clear the rubble,” the minister wrote.

“The situation in the Kyiv region is difficult, where as of now 3 people have been killed as a result of the shelling. In Vyshneve, due to the threat of secondary detonation, we began evacuating residents from the dangerous area. More than 500 people have already been temporarily evacuated until the completion of the response works. We are also inspecting damaged private homes to make sure no injured person is overlooked,” Klymenko added.

According to him, in total the Russian strike on Kyiv and the region has already claimed 14 lives. The identification of the dead is ongoing. Nearly 60 more residents were injured, including 5 children. Everyone is being provided with the necessary assistance.

Due to the danger to rescuers, robotic equipment and aviation were deployed. Dog handlers and explosive ordnance disposal teams are also working at the sites. Police and State Emergency Service psychologists have already provided assistance to more than 100 citizens.

Klymenko said that mobile service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have begun operating in Kyiv’s Darnytskyi and Podilskyi districts, and victims will be able to restore lost documents free of charge or have vehicles destroyed by the shelling written off.Read also: Russian attack on Kyiv injures four children, three hospitalized

In addition, help desks for those affected by the Russian attack on July 6 have been set up in Kyiv’s Darnytskyi, Podilskyi, and Obolonskyi districts, the Kyiv City State Administration reported.

Rescuers, law enforcement officers, municipal services, social workers, and volunteers are working at the damaged sites.

The help desks provide consultations, accept applications regarding damaged property, arrange financial assistance, and provide information on the next steps.

In Darnytskyi district, the help desks are located at 23-B Urlivska St. and 6 Zarichna St., near buildings 3 and 4. Working hours: until 16:00. Information phone: 098-478-11-90.

For quick interaction with residents and processing applications in Podilskyi district, coordination points have been set up at 35-B Svitlytskoho St. and 20-I Haharina Haharina Ave. (Lyceum No. 6). At these centers, specialists receive requests, collect information about the damage, and provide the necessary consultations.

Duty officers of the Podilskyi district administration are available around the clock at: (044) 425-25-25, (044) 425-61-82, and 066-918-18-01.

In Obolonskyi district, a help desk has been opened at 15-A Kurenivska St. If housing has been damaged, residents should contact emergency services at 102, as well as the reception office of the head of the Obolon District State Administration at 050-268-03-24.

As the Kyiv City State Administration reminded residents, assistance in cases of damaged or destroyed housing can be obtained under state and city programs.

Under the “eRecovery” program, compensation of up to UAH 350,000 is provided for damaged apartments and up to UAH 500,000 for damaged private houses. This money can be used to buy building materials or order repair services.

Financial assistance can also be obtained from the city budget. In particular, a one-time payment of UAH 40,000 will be provided to those who need urgent temporary relocation due to damage or destruction of housing, as well as monthly assistance of UAH 20,000 (for up to 12 months) to those who are forced to temporarily relocate. And another UAH 10,000 is available under the city program “Care. Toward the People of Kyiv.”

Owners of housing damaged by the enemy attack can submit an application online on the Services Portal.

As reported, air defense forces neutralized 37 missiles and 326 drones used by Russian invaders to attack Ukraine since the evening of July 5. The main direction of the strike was Kyiv.

reported that as of 5:15 p.m. today, July 6, 22 people were killed and 87 others injured in an attack in Ukraine, including seven children, four rescuers, and one police officer.
