We are talking about systems that were in service with Israel in the early 1990s.

Despite the widespread belief that Tel Aviv is not providing military assistance, Israel has been supplying weapons to Ukraine, including Patriot systems . This was stated by Israeli Ambassador to Ukraine Michael Brodsky in an interview with Marichka Dovbenko.
“There is a system that is very well known in Ukraine – the Patriot system, which saved us in the early 90s, when there was the first Gulf War. Then we received Patriot systems from the United States. And by the way, these systems are now in Ukraine. These are Israeli systems that were in service with Israel in the early 90s. We agreed to transfer them to Ukraine. And unfortunately, not much has been said about this. But when they say that Israel did not help militarily, it is not true, it is not true,” Brodsky emphasized.
He also noted that Israel has very strong ties with the United States.
“We have been building these ties for decades, it takes time, it takes a lot of effort on Israel’s part. It needs to be beneficial for the United States as well,” the ambassador added.

This is good, of course, and it really doesn’t matter if this is reported or not. The important thing is that Israel is sending military aid at all. Keeping it secret is okay with me. The Germans are doing so now, too.
Too late, too little.
