More than ten cars were damaged, and the victims included women and men.
On Wednesday, August 5, the Russian occupation army attacked an enterprise in the suburbs of Odessa – one person was killed and at least 8 were injured near the shelter.
As UNIAN was told by Inna Verba, a spokeswoman for the Odessa Regional Prosecutor’s Office, around noon the Russian Armed Forces struck civilian objects with Banderol missile drones. As a result, at least 13 cars were damaged.

“A 62-year-old man died on the spot from the attack. Eight more people were injured: three women aged 46-62 and five men aged 25-50. Seven people were hospitalized. Proceedings have been initiated under Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – war crimes that caused the death of a person,” the spokeswoman said.
The head of the Odessa regional military administration, Oleg Kiper, said that the cars caught fire as a result of a strike at one of the enterprises in the Odessa district. The fires that arose were quickly extinguished by rescuers. All relevant services are working at the scene.
According to the press service of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine , as a result of the enemy strike, cars in the parking lot and dry grass in a large area near the enterprise caught fire. The State Emergency Service involved 34 firefighters and 8 units of equipment.
Eyewitnesses on social media noted that the flight was “almost to a shelter” where people were staying.
At the same time, law enforcement agencies claim that the hit occurred near the shelter.
