In the Sumy region, Russian occupiers attacked a tent camp of civilians, resulting in deaths and injuries.

This was reported on the Telegram channel by Oleg Grigorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration (OVA). Late in the evening of September 6, he stated that as a result of an enemy attack on the outskirts of the Putyvl community, one person was killed and there were wounded.

“Among the victims is a 9-year-old child. The wounded were hospitalized, doctors are providing the necessary assistance. All circumstances are being clarified,” the head of the OVA wrote.

This morning, Grigorov reported that “late yesterday evening, Russia attacked a civilian tent camp on the outskirts of the Putyvl community.”

“The enemy turned people’s peaceful rest into a tragedy. A 51-year-old woman died from a shrapnel wound – even before the arrival of doctors,” he noted.

In addition, the head of the OVA added, seven people were injured, including an 8-year-old boy and his parents. All of them were hospitalized.

“The victims are receiving medical assistance, their condition is initially considered moderate,” Grigorov said.

The invaders’ attack on Ukraine

On the night of September 7, Russian invaders struck , in particular, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Zaporizhia, Kryvyi Rih, Kremenchuk and Odessa. Many people were injured, a one-year-old child died. Infrastructure was also damaged.

Prime Minister Yulia Svirydenko said that this is the first time since the start of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine that a government building has been damaged as a result of an attack.
