In the port of Sochi (Russian Federation), the Ukrainian Navy struck the Russian support ship NEFRIT. This was announced by the press service of the Ukrainian Navy.
“A multi-purpose support vessel under the flag of the Russian Federation was hit by a naval unmanned boat of the Naval Forces. A powerful explosion and smoke were recorded in the area of the vessel,” the report says.
It is said that NEFRIT is an element of the Russian maritime and energy infrastructure that provided oil and gas operations, serviced offshore facilities, transported cargo and personnel, and performed underwater technical work.
His activities were direct support for the enemy’s war economy and financing of criminal aggression against Ukraine, the Navy emphasizes.
“The defeat of NEFRIT is a blow to the enemy’s logistics, special capabilities, and military-economic infrastructure,” the military noted.
