The partisan planted two explosive devices under the Mi-28’s landing gear.

A Russian Mi-28 attack helicopter was destroyed at a military base in Russia’s Tver region . The explosive devices were planted by a Ukrainian partisan who penetrated the closed territory, the partisan movement  “People’s Resistance of Ukraine” reports .

It is noted that the partisan penetrated the territory of the 344th center for combat use and retraining of flight personnel of army aviation, which is located near the city of Torzhok. He planted two explosive devices under the landing gear of the Mi-28, which was parked in an open area near the runway.

The People’s Resistance of Ukraine recalled that the Russians often use Mi-28 attack helicopters for strikes on Ukraine.

“The consequences of the sabotage are obvious. Russians can only guess how many more “truck wheels” and “drones” will explode on the territory of other military airfields,” the report says.Read also:

How Ukrainian partisans operate

Earlier, Foreign Policy reported on how Ukrainian partisans operate  in the occupied territory. The publication recalled that in April they disabled a railway transformer near Stanitsa Luhanska and also set fire to railway infrastructure and a Russian tank in the Donetsk region.

The pro-Ukrainian underground movement “Atesh” claimed responsibility for all three attacks on Telegram. Their main goal is to destabilize the “war machine” of Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin.

Professor Yuriy Matsiyaevsky from the National University of Ostroh Academy said that acts of sabotage are committed by forces supporting Ukraine almost every other day. They include murders, ambushes, arson, poisoning, kidnappings and explosions.
