Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin do not want to make concessions, but they will have to in order to reach an agreement, US President Donald Trump said during a cabinet meeting at the presidential residence Camp David.
“I said, ‘We have to end this war.’ I think Zelensky wants to make a deal, and I think Putin wants to make a deal. I think he wants to make a deal, and I think Putin wants to make a deal. But as you probably noticed, there’s a lot of animosity between them,” Trump said.
The US President stressed that Putin is very reluctant to make concessions. However, according to him, Zelenskyy is also unwilling to make concessions.
