Germany is in the process of transferring two complete Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine.

According to him, the first launchers have already been transferred to the Ukrainian side. Pistorius emphasized that in addition to the constant supply of weapons and ammunition, Germany is currently focused on strengthening Ukrainian air defense .

The German Defense Minister thanked Norway for agreeing to cover half of the cost of the two Patriot systems. He noted that coordination with American allies ensures rapid replacement of the systems.

Earlier, on August 24, it became known that Norway would allocate about 7 billion kroner (approximately $696 million) to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense.
