BREAKING NEWS: Germany has launched its own production of Patriot missiles, which can be transferred to Ukraine

The first deliveries of missiles are expected in 2026-2027.

Germany has opened its own production line for missiles for the American Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems . Some of the ammunition may potentially be provided to Ukraine. This was announced by the coordinator of the headquarters for assistance to Ukraine at the German Ministry of Defense, Major General Christian Freuding, writes “Suspilne”.

He noted that the missile production line for Patriot systems, which was launched in Germany, is independent of the United States.

Freuding told reporters that the first deliveries of Patriot missiles, which will be assembled on a German production line, are expected in 2026-2027.

The Major General assured that Germany will be able to transfer Patriot missiles to Ukraine without coordination with the US. He emphasized that this production line will continue to be European.
