On the evening of September 22, the Russian capital Moscow and the Moscow region came under attack by unknown drones. At least 10 explosions were heard.

According to Russian data, Russian air defense shot down up to 9 drones over Moscow, repelling the drone attack.
Residents of Nakhabino and Zelenograd near Moscow also reported air defense operations. The airspace over Moscow is still closed.
Sobyanin claims that “there is no preliminary damage,” but “emergency services are working on the scene.”
The sky over Moscow is completely closed, and the “Carpet” plan has been announced at the capital’s airports.
“Airports in the Moscow region – Sheremetyevo, Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Zhukovsky – are not sending or receiving aircraft,” Rosaviatsia reported.
According to the Baza Telegram channel, 9 flights are delayed at Sheremetyevo, 6 at Vnukovo, and 3 at Domodedovo.
