Stefanchuk announced a recess in the parliamentary session.
Almost 100 signatures of Ukrainian MPs have already been collected in parliament in support of the resignation of the Ukrainian government . This was announced by Petro Poroshenko, a member of parliament from the European Solidarity faction, at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on December 2. At least 150 signatures are required to place the issue on the parliamentary agenda.
“We’re continuing to collect signatures for a government reboot and the creation of a new coalition. And thank you to everyone, because we’re approaching 100 signatures. Please don’t stop,” he noted.
The MP emphasized the need to remove all those implicated in the “Yermak-Mindych” tapes from the government, threatening to name everyone next time. He stated that the “EU” faction is ready to participate in forming a coalition “not for the sake of positions, but for the sake of Ukraine.”
After Poroshenko’s speech, members of parliament from the “EU” faction announced they would block the podium until their demands were met. In response, Verkhovna Rada Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk accused the faction of violating parliamentary regulations, which prohibit blocking the podium. Meanwhile, members of parliament from the “EU” faction chanted, “Government out!”Read also:
Stefanchuk noted that there were many important bills on the agenda today, but the work of parliament is blocked.
“Unfortunately, I am being subjected to undue influence as a statesman, so I am forced to announce a recess in the plenary session,” he said.
Since sessions are no longer adjourned, but merely adjourned, this means that parliament will no longer function today. Not a single bill was considered, not a single decision was made.

Poroshenko is absolutely wrong. Now is not the time to play these games. Absolutely despicable.
