The enterprise, which has been operating in the region for 11 years with 100% German investment, has been destroyed.
Zhytomyr came under a massive attack by Russian troops at night, and one of the largest enterprises in the region – the German Kromberg & Schubert plant – is now out of operation. This was reported by the Zhytomyr OVA.

The plant produces electrical on-board cable systems and harnesses for world-class automobile brands: Volkswagen, Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Skoda, Porsche. The production facilities and infrastructure of the enterprise suffered significant damage, which is why the company announced a temporary suspension of operations without specifying specific terms.
“Possible timing for the resumption of operations will become clear once the technical assessment is completed and the full scope of the necessary restoration work is determined,” the company said in a statement.
Kromberg & Schubert is a 100% German civilian company that has been operating in the Zhytomyr region for 11 years and employs about 3,500 local residents. According to available data, despite the scale of the destruction, none of the employees were injured during the attack.
