People’s deputies from factions in the Verkhovna Rada have become known who voted for Law No. 12414 on July 22, which actually means the elimination of the independence of the NABU and the SAPO.

This was reported by the “CHESNO” movement,  Censor.NET reports .

Thus, 263 deputies voted “for” . The “Servants of the People” faction gave the most votes “for” (185) , they were also supported by the majority of deputies from “PZZHM” (18), “Trust” (17), “Batkivshchyna” (15), “For the Future” (10) and “Revival of Ukraine” (9).

In addition, three votes “in favor” were cast by “European Solidarity” , one by ” Golos”, and five more by non – factional members.

The “CHESNO” movement showed which deputies voted for the destruction of the independence of anti-corruption bodies.

Searches at NABU and SAPO

It was previously reported that on July 21, 2025, NABU employees were subject to investigative actions without court orders , which were carried out by employees of the SBU and the Prosecutor General’s Office.

Subsequently, the SBU reported that one of the heads of the interregional departments of NABU detectives, Ruslan Maghamedrasulov, was exposed for doing business with Russia .

The Security Service announced the exposure of the current People’s Deputy from the OPZZH, Fedor Khrystenko . He is suspected of treason. According to law enforcement officials, he worked to strengthen Russian influence on the NABU.

The Security Service of Ukraine also came to the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office .

People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported that the Rada, at its meeting on July 22, wants to subordinate the NABU to the Prosecutor General . Shabunin, commenting on draft law No. 12414, noted that Zelensky is destroying the key anti-corruption achievements of the Revolution of Dignity.

The NABU and SAPO emphasized that amendments were made to draft law No. 12414 at the last moment, which actually destroy the independence of the SAPO and subordinate the activities of the NABU and SAPO to the Prosecutor General.

On July 22, the Verkhovna Rada adopted Bill 12414, which eliminates the independence of the NABU and the SAPO .
