27 people are listed as missing.

Russian forces bombed the village of Komyshevakha in the Zaporizhia region, hitting a school where humanitarian aid was being distributed. Eighteen people have been killed, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

A damaged site with rubble and debris from a collapsed structure, showing smoke rising from the ground on the left and an open doorway to a dark, empty interior on the right.

“The Russian airstrike on the village of Komyshevakha in the Zaporizhzhia region was extremely devastating. Several airstrikes had already struck the village this morning, targeting a school used for humanitarian aid, where they were distributing humanitarian aid. The first airstrike was followed by a follow-up strike with nine more bombs, specifically targeting a shelter where people were located,” he noted.

According to Zelenskyy, eighteen people are currently known to have died and five people are injured. Rescue operations are ongoing at the scene, and the search for victims is ongoing.

“The Russians couldn’t have been unaware that local residents remaining in Komyshevakha received humanitarian aid there every week. This is further proof that Russia wants neither de-escalation nor real justice. After the humanitarian operation in Oleshky, there was a moment when further steps could have demonstrated that peace was possible. With such killings, Russia is sending the exact opposite signal – Russia is counting on further killings,” Zelenskyy emphasized.

At the same time, the secretary of the Zaporizhzhia city council, Regina Kharchenko, stated that 27 people are listed as missing in Komyshevakha following the Russian strikes.

“The Russians understood perfectly well what the target was. Where they were aiming their KABs. Their tactics remain unchanged: strike first, and then finish off those desperately trying to save themselves and others,” she added.

  1. Says the preZident who keeps talking as if Ukraine was a nuclear power and ruSSia a piSS-aSS country, refusing territorial concessions, while the terror continues.

    • He’s right too. Concede anything to the orcs, they will come back for even more. If the mighty russian army is so good, they could take Donbas instead attacking civilians.

      • They can’t. That’s why the aSSholes keep targeting civilians. But Ukraine can’t retake most of the occupied territories either.

        • As far as I know, Ukraine have never stated they could take their territory back. They have stated many times they would accept freezing the frontline where it is, but putler wants to destroy every inch of Ukraine, along with every Ukrainian.

          • Bro, i’m with Ukraine since 1999. I’m not a troll, but i think i have to speak American from time to time. A Ukraine without the occupied territories (Walter Urban 😁) is a FREE country. Holding on to what is already lost only wastes valuable lives in my opinion.

            • Ukraine will never be a free country while russia survives, the hatred goes back centuries. They don’t recognise Ukraine as an independent country and never will.

  2. The death toll from Russian strikes on an educational institution in Komyshuvakha, Zaporizhzhia region, on November 2 has risen to 24
