Ukrainian defense forces launched a combined strike on the Bryansk Chemical Plant , using not only Western missiles, as previously reported by the General Staff. Military observer Denis Popovich reported this on Radio NV .

“According to the General Staff, the strike was carried out using Storm Shadow missiles. But since this strike was carried out in coordination with the Navy, it’s clear that Neptune was involved.

Officially, the consequences of the strike on this plant are being clarified, but unofficial information indicates it was completely destroyed,” Popovich said.

He added that the affected facility manufactures explosives and is therefore an important component of Russia’s defense industry.

According to the expert, in addition to the Bryansk Chemical Plant, the Defense Forces also struck other Russian facilities.

“We’re hitting oil refineries, something exploded in Makhachkala, the exact details are still unknown.

Something landed, and not for the first time, on Russia’s energy infrastructure—I’m referring to the Smolensk Thermal Power Plant. These are strikes directly targeting the military-industrial complex,” Popovich added.
