A large-scale accident occurred in the power system in Ukraine, leaving a significant part of the country without electricity.

As Censor.NET reports , this was reported by sources of “Economic Truth ” in one of the energy companies and the Cabinet of Ministers.

The causes of the incident are currently unknown.

The publication contacted the press service of Ukrenergo for comment.

What preceded it?

As reported, on the morning of January 31, metro traffic was stopped due to low voltage. Kyiv and the Kyiv region switched to emergency shutdowns.
