Locals say they heard explosions that sounded like rockets.

In Belgorod, Russia, after flights arrived in the area of ​​the CHP and one of the substations, the power went out in part of the city. There are also reports of water supply restrictions. This is reported by local media.

Residents reportedly heard multiple explosions, up to five in total. They said it sounded like missiles, not drones. Video of the arrivals shows a large fire.

After the explosions, electricity and water were cut off in the city and neighboring settlements. Residents of the Belgorod region – from the settlements of Shebekino, Stary Oskil, etc. – also reported problems with electricity. A fire and a tall column of smoke are visible above the local CHP.

Judging by the videos posted online, the lights went out in private homes, supermarkets, and shopping malls. In particular, you can see people walking up escalators that suddenly stopped.

Street lighting is also out, traffic lights are not working. There are reports of problems with the internet.
