A powerful explosion rocked Severomorsk, Murmansk Oblast, Russia, on Sunday, June 1.

This was reported by the Russian Telegram channel Astra, citing other Russian public groups, Censor.NET reports .
As noted, Severomorsk is home to the largest Russian nuclear submarine base.
Astra also published a video in which the sounds of explosions can be heard. The report added that the video does not appear to be of Severomorsk, but of the city of Olenegorsk in the Murmansk region.
SBU operation in Russia
As a reminder, today the Security Service of Ukraine is conducting an operation to destroy aircraft in Russia . It was personally led by the head of the SBU, Vasyl Malyuk. As a result of the operation, more than 40 enemy aircraft were destroyed.
