Russian forces attacked a television tower in Chernihiv, causing damage to the structure, according to the Chernihiv City Council press service.
“As a result of the attack carried out by Russian troops on October 29 on the television tower in the center of Chernihiv, the structure was damaged,” the statement said.
The city council reported that in order to prevent possible emergencies and ensure the safety of city residents, work to stabilize the structure will be carried out in the near future.
Residents of Chernihiv are asked to stay away from the TV tower and limit their time spent within a 200-meter radius.
