BREAKING NEWS: A missile alert was declared in 18 regions of the Russian Federation: a missile flew into the refinery and a military plant. It flew 2000 km.

For the first time, a missile threat was declared in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, 2,000 kilometers from the border with Ukraine.

Russian news channels report that a military plant in Cheboksary, the capital of Chuvashia, and a large refinery in the Leningrad Region were hit.

Thus, residents of Cheboksary reported explosions and subsequent fire in the city at night. According to the ASTRA news channel , a Ukrainian missile hit the VNIIR-Progress defense enterprise.

This enterprise produces Comet antennas for the Russian army, which protect drones from Ukrainian electronic warfare. In particular, the VNIIR-Progress plant is engaged in the production of satellite GNSS receivers and antennas for Glonass, GPS and Galileo systems, Comet modules, which are used in Shahed kamikaze drones, as well as in Iskander-M and Caliber missiles and UMPK modules for aerial bombs.

In addition, the MTV Center shopping and entertainment center, located opposite the facade of the attacked VNIIR-Progress defense plant, was damaged.

18 UAVs were shot down overnight in the Leningrad region. The attack resulted in a fire in an industrial zone in Kirishi, the regional governor said.

One of the largest refineries in the Russian Federation, Kirishinefteorgsintez (KINEF), is located there . It produces gasoline, diesel, kerosene, fuel oil, and petrochemicals. The NASA Firms monitoring system records fires on the refinery’s territory.

The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that air defense shot down 289 UAVs over the regions of the Russian Federation overnight.

According to Astra, the missile warnings concerned the Astrakhan region, Bryansk region, Kaluga region, Kurgan region, Nizhny Novgorod region, Orenburg region, Oryol region, Penza, Perm region, Bashkortostan, Mordovia, Sverdlovsk region, Tatarstan, Tula region, Udmurtia, and Chelyabinsk region.
