BREAKING NEWS: A huge fire broke out near Gostomel after a drone attack, – media (video)

Amidst almost continuous Russian drone attacks on Kyiv and the region, a huge fire has broken out in the Gostomel area, according to Telegram channels.

A dramatic scene of a large fire with thick black smoke and bright orange flames rising into the night sky, depicting a chaotic and intense fire event.

“The enemy struck again at a warehouse in Gostomel, Kyiv region. The network is reporting a second detonation,” reports the Kyiv News public service .

Footage of the fire near Gostomel, which shows powerful flames and a large column of smoke, is also being circulated online.

Media outlets, citing the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, report that a warehouse building is on fire as a result of a UAV attack in the Buchanskyi district.

Updated at 22:59 . As reported in his Telegram by the head of the Kyiv OVA, Timur Tkachenko, rescuers are currently extinguishing a fire in warehouses in the Buchanskyi district.

In total, one person has died and two others have been injured in the Kyiv region since the beginning of the day. In Buchanan, Fastiv, and Obukhiv districts, 17 objects have been damaged, including private homes, vehicles, warehouses and production facilities, a hangar, and a veterinary clinic.

Updated at 23:30 . Tkachenko later clarified that the warehouse attacked by the Russians had a civilian purpose, and that there were no casualties at this particular facility.
