S-400 launchers and radars were damaged on the territory of the Kuban Red Banner Regiment military unit.

Long-range drones destroyed four enemy S-400 Triumph missile launchers and two radars in Novorossiysk , a source in the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) told UNIAN.

It is noted that this refers to yesterday’s attack by drones from the Special Operations Center “Alpha” of the Security Service of Ukraine.

“Satellite images confirm that the Security Service successfully destroyed four S-400 Triumph anti-aircraft missile system launchers. They were located on the territory of a military unit of the Kuban Red Banner Regiment. The enemy also lost two important radars: a 96N6 (“Cheese Board”) early warning radar and a 92N6 (“Grave Stone”) target designation radar,” the source reported.

The source also added that there were approximately 12 such launchers located on the military unit’s premises, so there is a high probability that they were also damaged in the attack.

This operation was carried out by the SBU with the support of the Security and Defense Forces (the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the State Border Service). The source noted that work is underway to destroy enemy air defense systems protecting important military, infrastructure, and logistics facilities.Read also:

“Each such destroyed system is a gap in the defense that Ukrainian drones and missiles will certainly exploit,” added an informed source in the SBU.

Defense forces struck the port of Novorossiysk – what is known?

As UNIAN reported, on the night of November 14, the Alfa special forces of the Security Service of Ukraine, together with the Main Intelligence Directorate, the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service, the coastal missile and artillery troops of the Navy, and other components of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, conducted a special operation to destroy the oil terminal of the Novorossiysk seaport (Krasnodar Krai, Russia). It is the second-largest oil export hub in Russia and an important logistics hub for the export of petroleum products via the Black Sea.

The attack damaged oil loading arms at the piers, pipeline infrastructure, and pumping units. A major fire broke out at the oil terminal.
