The extent of damage to Russia is currently being clarified.
On the night of November 25, units of the Missile Troops and Artillery, in cooperation with the Special Operations Forces, the Naval Coastal Missile Troops, and the Unmanned Systems Forces, successfully struck several strategic targets of the Russian aggressor . This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Specifically, damage was reported to the Beriev Aircraft Repair Plant and the Molniya UAV production facility, Atlant Aero. Multiple explosions and significant fires were observed at both facilities.
An experimental A-60 aircraft was likely hit during the attack on the TANTK plant. This facility also repairs and modernizes A-50 AWACS aircraft and Russian Tu-95MS strategic bombers.
Furthermore, the Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully destroyed the Sheskharis oil terminal in Novorossiysk and the Tuapse oil refinery in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai. According to preliminary data, oil handling equipment (devices for loading and unloading oil into tankers) and a launcher from an S-400 air defense system were destroyed in Novorossiysk.
Bars unmanned aerial vehicles and Neptune cruise missiles were reportedly used in the attack. The extent of the damage is being determined.
Strikes against Russia: important news
Previously, military expert Evgeny Diky stated that the Beriev Aircraft Company is the only enterprise in Russia capable of modernizing Russian strategic aviation. Furthermore, this plant is the only one capable of servicing Russian A-50 aircraft.
It also became known that on November 15, the Security Service of Ukraine launched strikes against Russian air defense systems in Novorossiysk. At the time, it was reported that four S-400 launchers and two radars had been successfully destroyed, thus creating a “hole” in Russia’s air defenses .
In addition, it was noted that approximately 12 such launchers were located on the territory of the military unit, so there is a high probability that they were also damaged as a result of the attack.
