Operators of the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces of the “Ballista” unit hit a Russian Ka-52 “Alligator” helicopter. The fighters used a “Bombus” tactical strike unmanned aerial vehicle complex with remote detonation.
This was reported by the “Balista” SSO unit on its official Instagram page, Censor.NET reports .
It is noted that the Russian helicopter attempted to carry out a “combat patrol” over Ukrainian territory.
“The Ka-52 Alligator tried to arrange a “combat patrol” over the Ukrainian fields.
But it did not take into account the main thing – a group of Bombus tactical strike UAVs was already waiting in the sky. Accurate work, cold calculation and – another minus in the occupiers’ fleet,” the post says.

The Ka-52 “Alligator” helicopter is considered one of the most modern Russian attack helicopters.

A $16 million chopper taken down by a cheap drone. Putler didn’t envisage this when he started his 3 day SMO.
This makes you wonder what types of drones the AFU has that we’ve never heard of until they achieve something like this. I never heard of a drone called Bombus.
The Bombus is a cheap toy drone made in China. Somehow, I doubt Ukraine are using those to blow up choppers, but you never know
It doesn’t sound like it. Catching a chopper is not something I cannot imagine a cheap drone being able to do.
