The bodies of a woman and her two children have been recovered from the rubble of a building destroyed in a Russian missile attack on Kiev .

This was reported on air by the Ukrainian Presidential Commissioner for Children’s Rights and Children’s Rehabilitation, Darya Gerasimchuk. “I received photographs of dead children from our investigative bodies. Children who were pulled out from under the rubble. This is a 9-year-old girl, an 11-year-old boy and their mother. These children certainly did not expect that their lives would end today,” she said.

Gerasimchuk did not specify which object she was talking about, but the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported two children killed in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the capital.

“The search and rescue operation is ongoing. Preliminary, 3 people died, including 2 children, another 18 were injured,” their official Telegram channel says .
