“Big water” is coming to the Russian Federation: the fight against the elements and fines for “dam self-construction”

Flooding continues in the Russian Federation , and at this time officials are simulating a fight against a man-made disaster and threatening fines for people who themselves managed to build a protective structure and escape from the “big water.”

As Meduza reports , the water level in the Ishim River in the Tyumen region near the city of the same name has reached a critical level. Residents of Ishim were urged to evacuate houses that may be in a flood zone.

Temporary accommodation centers have been deployed in the city; residents are warned about the need to evacuate during door-to-door visits. In addition, according to local authorities, there is a danger of flooding in the settlements of Kazanskoye, Palenka, Novogeorgievka, Afonkino, Kazan district, Tyumen region. Evacuations are also being carried out there.

According to Meduza, about 67.5 thousand people live in the city of Ishim, the regional administrative center.

In April, the Orenburg region was hit by floods, where several settlements were flooded, including the city of Orsk, where a protective dam broke. According to Important Stories, five people died during the flood in the Orenburg region, but authorities claim that there are no casualties.

“As of mid-April, the water level in the rivers of the Orenburg region is retreating from critical levels. But the flood begins in the Tyumen and Kurgan regions,” the publication says.

According to 1+1, in the Russian Kurgan the water level rose by 111 centimeters in one day. There is an evacuation going on. Russians are being taken out of populated areas due to flooding in the Tyumen region.

The point is that officials who cannot prevent the elements are pretending to be in a frenzy of activity. Thus, the governor of the Kurgan region, together with the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, inspected the flood from a helicopter. And in the flood-hit Orenburg region, officials are threatening to fine residents of the village of Petrovskoye who built a dam on their own. The Russians worked on construction for 5 days and the structure protected their houses from floods. However, officials threaten them with a fine for unauthorized construction.

The story shows Russian Tomsk, which looks terrible – houses are flooded, streams with unmelted ice, etc. The local dam cannot withstand the water pressure. The embankment was supposed to strengthen the left side of the communal bridge over the river, but giant blocks of concrete fly into the water along with the ground. The situation is so critical that flooding threatens the Novosibirsk region.

It is noted that 1,500 kilometers from Tomsk, the Russian Kurgan is preparing for a “swim” – the governor there announced an urgent evacuation and advises not to wait until the water gets closer, because “they won’t have time to react.” People are being moved to temporary premises, including some who tell propaganda TV channels that they perceive the disaster as a vacation. They say they haven’t been on vacation for 20 years – “it’s time to take a break.”

While ordinary Russians are counting their losses, investigators from Alexei Navalny’s Anti-Corruption Foundation have found out that the mayor of Orsk, Vasily Kuzupitsa, moved his family to the United Arab Emirates a month ago. The cost of the apartment in Dubai, which his daughter-in-law boasted on social networks, is almost half a million dollars.

Kuzupitsa is an ardent supporter of the Putin regime and supports the war against Ukraine, but his son left the country in October 2022 – after the start of a new wave of mobilization in the Russian Federation. Before ending up in Dubai, he managed to live in Saudi Arabia.

While new regions of Russia are preparing for the swim, local officials are increasingly disgraced. While new regions of Russia are preparing for the swim, local officials are increasingly disgraced

Flood in Russia – latest news

On April 5, a dam broke in the Russian city of Orsk. Local authorities began an emergency evacuation of the population. The company responsible for the construction of the dam, on which they spent a billion rubles, blamed rodents for everything. It was also reported that several days before the man-made disaster, the protective structure was “repaired” with prayers.

Soon the flood gained momentum – the “big water” had already reached Western Siberia, flooding three more regions.

Also recently, the city of Orenburg, home to half a million people, announced a mass evacuation amid a worsening flood situation . The water level in the Ural River rose by 40 cm and reached a dangerous level of 1143 cm.
