Biden’s aide warned of new sanctions over Navalny’s poisoning

The United States is preparing new sanctions against Russia in connection with the poisoning of Alexei Navalny, US Assistant to the President for National Security Jake Sullivan told CNN.

“We are preparing another package of sanctions that will apply in connection with this situation,” Sullivan said. He noted that Washington will impose sanctions over the use of chemical weapons when it realizes that it is “hitting the right targets.”

Also, according to Sullivan, the United States will continue to impose sanctions on companies involved in the construction of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline.

Update. The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, commenting on Sullivan’s words,

said that “our natural response has always followed the illegal actions of the United States.”

Jake Sullivan announced new sanctions four days after the meeting between US President Joe Biden and Russian President Vladimir Putin, held in Geneva. After the summit, Putin said that if the United States, as after his meeting with Donald Trump in Helsinki in 2016, introduced new sanctions against Moscow, it would mean “another missed opportunity.”

Do you dumbasses not realise who the right target is, or is US intelligence so stupid? One little clue, his name is Putler.

  2. Good. But, can’t you move any slower? If you wait long enough, you can cancel the sanctions altogether on the grounds of exceeding the statute of limitation.
