US President Joe Biden plans to make a special address, where he will explain to the American people and the US Congress how important it is to continue to provide financial and security assistance to Ukraine.

Details: According to Jean-Pierre, the majority of lawmakers in Congress and in the House of Representatives continue to support the allocation of assistance to Ukraine. Biden’s speech will aim to make sure both chambers of Congress keep their promise and vote on the Ukrainian issue.
Jean-Pierre also expressed concern about a small group of Republicans in the House of Representatives who are “causing chaos.”
Quote: “So we want to see that commitment continued to the people of Ukraine… It would be a major mistake if we do not continue to do that.
Americans are sick and tired of the infighting that they’re seeing in the house right now. They want to see us work in a bipartisan way and the president is willing to do that right.”

Unfortunately, this address was too weak, regarding Ukraine aid. First, it was not Biden speaking to the American people. The briefing actually started with totally different subject matters and not about Ukraine, and it took a reporter to touch upon the subject of Ukraine and other reporters to keep the Ukraine issue alive.
The Biden administration continues to fail in its effort to properly communicate to the American people the importance of supporting Ukraine and its plans about its final goal. There is a strong interest in Ukraine, according to the reporters in the briefing room. I hope that Biden and his team see this finally. We’ll have to wait and see what the president’s speech will reveal.
There needs to be a legal response to the enormous pro-putinaZi disinformation machine.
Like in WW2, if you work in media or politics and are engaged in promoting the interests of a genocidal nazi regime, there needs to be legislation that makes it a serious criminal offence.
Our democratic institutions are much too weak these days to initiate such a measure. Just look at our various jellyfish governments across the Western world. It’s enough to make a grown man cry.
