US President Joe Biden condemned the massive Russian missile strikes against Ukraine , saying they demonstrated the extreme brutality of Vladimir Putin’s war against the Ukrainian people.

“The United States strongly condemns today’s Russian missile strikes against Ukraine, including Kyiv. These strikes have killed and injured civilians and destroyed non-military facilities. These strikes once again demonstrate the extreme brutality Putin’s lawless war against the Ukrainian people,” Biden said in a statement.
“We offer our condolences to the families and loved ones of those who were senselessly killed today, as well as our wishes for a speedy recovery to those injured,” Biden said.
The President said that “these strikes only further strengthen our commitment to support the people of Ukraine for as long as it takes. Together with our allies and partners, we will continue to do everything to make Russia feel the cost of its aggression.”
Biden also promised that the US and allies will do everything to “hold Putin and Russia accountable for all atrocities and war crimes, and provide all necessary support to Ukrainian forces to protect their country and their freedom.”
“We again call on Russia to immediately stop this unprovoked aggression and withdraw its troops from Ukraine,” Biden said.
Also commented on Russian strikes on Ukraine and US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. He said that after the attack, he had a telephone conversation with his Ukrainian counterpart Dmitry Kuleba to reaffirm US support.
