United States President Joe Biden has promised to “immediately sign” House Speaker Mike Johnson’s aid bills for Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan once the documents are approved by Congress.
The corresponding statement by the American leader was published on the White House website . Biden stressed his strong support for Mike Johnson’s bills to provide support to Israel and Ukraine, provide desperately needed humanitarian aid to Palestinians in Gaza and strengthen security and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
“Israel is facing unprecedented attacks from Iran, and Ukraine is facing continued bombing from Russia, which has escalated dramatically over the past month. The House must pass the package this week, and the Senate must immediately follow suit. I will sign this legislation immediately to ensure send a message to the world: we stand with our friends and will not allow Iran or Russia to succeed,” the US President said.

Please note that he named Israel, whose casualties had been comparatively low, first. That’s typical for him. Ukraine’s fate is just an afterthought. 😠

Ok, fair enough, Larry. But I still don’t believe Biden is a real friend of Ukraine. If he was, he’d done much more to send help. 🤔

That was the term Biden’s spokesperson Kirby used! No only once, which may have been a slip of the tongue, but several times. So, sorry, but I remain unconvinced that the Biden team is dedicated to help Ukraine to win. Their downplaying of the war as a mere “conflict” rather supports the view tfat they want a negotiated peace, with territorial gains for Putin, as soon as possible, preferrably before the election. 😠
