As UNIAN reported earlier, on May 3, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine addressed the US Congress with a request to recognize Russia as a sponsor of terrorism. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba regularly make the same appeal to the world community.

On July 21, Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi demanded that US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken recognize Russia as  a state sponsor of terrorism , otherwise Congress itself will make such a decision.READ ALSO:

On July 27, the US Senate unanimously  passed a resolution calling on the State Department to recognize Russia as a State Sponsor of Terrorism.

The President thanked the US senators who unanimously approved the resolution. The head of state  stressed that no one in the world fits into terrorism more than Russia, and there is no rational reason for there to be no legal reaction to this.

Note that the US State Department is responsible for listing states as sponsors of terrorism, which, in the opinion of the Secretary of State, have repeatedly supported terrorist acts around the world. The sanctions imposed on such states include restrictions on receiving aid from the United States, a ban on the export and sale of defense products, controls on the export of dual-use goods, and various financial and other restrictions.

Now in the American list of sponsoring countries: Syria, Iran, Cuba and North Korea.

  1. Apparently, there is something seriously wrong with Biden’s cognitive functions. Never before has there been a POTUS who has done so much damage to our country in such a short time: Open border policies that cause horrid problems, a catastrophic escape from Afghanistan, destruction of our energy independence, an unnatural angst of mafia land, despite it having shown its complete ineptness, and now, refusing to accept an obvious fact that mafia land is a 100% state sponsor of terrorism.
Biden has and is helping Ukraine a lot, no doubt about it, but, it’s easy to imagine what a Kennedy or Reagan … two good, strong, level-headed presidents … would have done, not only in Ukraine, but with all those other points above.
I hope that the next POTUS will serve this country as it deserves and treats its friends as they deserve, concurrently, make our enemies fear and respect us again. In today’s world, we simply cannot afford to be led by a bamboozling, hesitant, woke weakling.

      • Not doing what you are supposed to is hardly collusion. Besides as we found out in the Mueller report the law isn’t written that way.
I’m not seeing any good prospects for a new leader, and I just don’t get POTUS not declaring ruZZia a state sponsor of terror.
        Truly messed up.
