Belgorod governor takes vacation to ‘recharge his batteries’ as oblast braces for Ukrainian breakthrough — video

As Belgorod Oblast braces for a Ukrainian breakthrough and faces forced evacuations, governor Vyacheslav Gladkov surprised everyone by announcing he’s taking a vacation to “recharge.”

Gladkov highlighted that in order to perform his duties more effectively, he needs a proper rest and urged local residents, many of whom have lost their homes, to understand his decision.

“I’ll be on vacation for the next two weeks. You have to admit, everyone needs a break…” he said.

“I’ll keep the situation under control and, after recharging, return to tackle our tasks with even greater focus and energy.”

Although Gladkov did not disclose where he will be “recharging,” many speculate it won’t be in Belgorod or any other area bordering Ukraine.

Typical terrorist coward. “I don’t need ammo, I need a ride.”
