Belgium will deliver two F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine this year and two more next year. There will be no delays in the delivery of the aircraft.

This was stated by Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever during a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Censor.NET reports with reference to RBC-Ukraine. 

“We promised to become the largest supplier of F-16s to Ukraine. And here, of course, we will keep our word. Two F-16s and spare parts will arrive this year, two aircraft will arrive next year. We really hope that there will be more, but we are waiting for the F-35. There are no delays on our part,” De Wever said.

According to him, as soon as Belgium receives the F-35 aircraft, it can immediately transfer the F-16 to Ukraine.

“We will fully adhere to our promises. We will immediately deliver the F-16s that we promised to Ukraine. There will be no delays from Belgium in the delivery of the F-16s,” the Belgian Prime Minister added. Джерело: https://censor.net/ua/n3545697
