The Belarusians have already disrupted Putin’s plans.

The Charter97.org website has learned the reason why the Belarusian troops still do not participate in the military actions against Ukraine, despite the orders “from above”. Most of the rank and file of the Belarusian units, which have been prepared to be sent to Ukraine, are against taking part in the war.
The officers report to the General Staff of the Belarusian Armed Forces that if they cross the border, the officers’ lives will be in great danger because the soldiers will raise arms against them. Mass surrender of Belarusian soldiers is also expected.
A number of small units of the Belarusian army already crossed the border with Ukraine a few days ago, but were turned back because the soldiers refused to take part in combat operations.

The past two days, I’ve been reading stuff on the web about Belarus soldiers refusing to fight in Ukraine. I was a bit confused because loony declared a few days ago that Belarus will not participate in the fighting. However, I remembered seeing a few images of the war in Ukraine, which did show military vehicles with an “O” painted on the sides. This denotes Belarusian equipment. However, it was not many, maybe two images that I’ve seen. But still, this means that there were at least some Belarusian units in Ukraine. So, I decided to dig deeper as to WHY loony isn’t supporting his master and/or why there were Belarusians in Ukraine, at least briefly. The only source I found on this topic was this short article by Charter 97. It is an anti-Lukashenko organization, now based in Poland, due to persecution. Unfortunately, it doesn’t get into more details and some questions remain open.
At any rate, this would explain why loony made this announcement, that Belarus won’t participate and why suddenly no more images of Belarusian vehicles or reports of fights with them exist anymore. It makes sense. Loony simply CAN’T participate under these circumstances! This is very good news.
If you are like me, such news gives me hope and optimism during Ukraine’s darkest hours. I’ve had very little sleep since the invasion, and my nerves are not the best anymore. Add to this that I’ve had a number of arguments with my family because I of my desire to fight. Even my Oksana and her family are against it. So, any good news, such as the one above, helps! It helps to reduce the itch to go there anyway.
I am now in Germany as my Oksana, her son and others are making their way to the Polish border. I will pick her up sometime in the coming days.
Getting a clear picture of the situation is not possible at this time. There are too many ambiguities and information is not exactly flowing freely.
Hopefully Oksana and her family will make it to Poland safely.
Thanks!
Thanks and God speed for Oksana and her family.
Thank you!
