The battles for Mariupol-based Azovstal are underway, and Russian invaders are actually destroying the metallurgical giant.
The relevant statement was made by Advisor to Ukrainian Internal Affairs Minister Vadym Denysenko during a telethon, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Now the battles for Azovstal are underway. According to the data we have, we can say we have lost this economic giant. Actually, one of Europe’s largest metallurgical plants is being destroyed… We must clearly realize: it is Putin’s personal order to destroy this city and, at the same time, one of his key objectives in the war. No matter how this war ends, no matter what is next, but his task is not to demilitarize Ukraine but to deindustrialize Ukraine, i.e. to make us renovate our plants for next decades after them,” Denysenko told.
In his words, some Mariupol residents managed to leave for safe regions on March 18, 2022.
“In Berdiansk, we have organized the so-called transfer point, where people can stop, receive assistance. We hope we will be able to open humanitarian corridors today as well, so that more people can leave the besieged city,” Denysenko noted.
A reminder that, on February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin initiated a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, starting a war. Russian invaders are shelling and destroying the key infrastructure facilities, launching missile strikes on residential areas in Ukrainian cities and villages, killing civilians.

There must now be a “full scale invasion” of Ukraine.
This time of the Budapest signatories, plus whoever else will help.
A chronically bad situation is turning worse by the day. Putler wants the total destruction of Ukraine and he doesn’t care how many millions he kills.
Multiple cities will be charnel houses and smoking ruins. The demon putler will be laughing.
A complete rethink is needed now. The Budapest signatories cannot anymore idly stand by watching a Holocaust.
It’s hard to see such images and to read such gruesome stories and not hate the West for its incompetence, cowardice and lethargy.
I hate them too. My president is a stupid fool. The only reason why I don’t want him assassinated, is because he’d be replaced by an even stupider, and more evil fool, his vice president kamala harris. If she were killed too, then the line of succession goes to the leader of the political party with a majority position, who in this case is nancy pelosi, and she is equally incompetent.
There’s been a lot of discussion in American (and perhaps the UK’s) conservatism, about how much the West has become a paper tiger by the continual focus on useless topics like CRT or transgender, and “victimization” by the “oppressors.” That apparently communism has infiltrated America, Canada, and Britain, leading us to become weak against dictators. Even worse to start adopting their ideas. So for conservatives to push out ideas like “socialist democracy,” good people need to pay attention, and vote it out, while we still have that ability.
No dictators are willing to try expanding their evil when good people with political power hold to their principles, and push back against that evil.
I’m writing about this in my novels. I’ve already published one, and I’m looking at writing another. That one is based on what horror is unleashed when the state removes the incentive for individuals to think, and act for themselves. This was documented by the “mouse utopia” experiment. Initially started for studying overpopulation, I believe it wasn’t about overpopulation, because their numbers dropped very quickly, but they continued to suffer afterwards. It was because the rodents’ instincts were replaced with indolence, through needs supplied automatically by a “state.”
I’m thinking that maybe if putin’s considering the possibility of Ukraine being victorious in pushing his forces out, then the more he can brutalize Ukraine, then the harder it will be for an economic recovery after the war. I continuously pray for Ukraine’s survival, your people put my country’s American leadership to shame, by how fierce and proudly Ukrainians take to patriotism. I think that’s a big part of why Ukrainians are so fierce against the russians, because they care so fervently much for the defense of their homes. I’d heard about a poll that was conducted, it asked if a similar situation happened to America, would the people stay and fight? I am to say the least, disappointed and disgusted with what my fellow Americans responded with. The “fight or flight” response seems delineated along political party lines and also age too. Many of our younger generation said they’d flee, so if “Red Dawn” happened in the United States, I’d probably see people closer to my own age, than teenagers. I pray for Ukrainian superiority, and to show us what fighting for independence and freedom really means! Glory to God, and glorious victory for Ukraine!
“As the world witnesses what is happening to Ukraine, Americans were asked what they would do if they were in the same position as Ukrainians are now: stay and fight or leave the country? A majority (55 percent) say they would stay and fight, while 38 percent say they would leave the country. Republicans say 68 – 25 percent and independents say 57 – 36 percent they would stay and fight, while Democrats say 52 – 40 percent they would leave the country.”
I think I’d also goofed on the spelling when I’d referred to my email in the name box for that.
