Their repair is unrealistic, even if Ukraine did not send them to the bottom.

Military-political observer of the Information Resistance group Alexander Kovalenko notes that the large landing ships Azov and Yamal were the last “working seals” of Russia’s Project 775.

He wrote about this in his Telegram channel , speaking about the significance of the strike on the temporarily occupied Crimean peninsula on the night of March 24.

“In addition to the damaged and destroyed objects in the form of a communications center and objects related to the control system and infrastructure of the ROV, the reports about the defeat of the Azov and Yamal large landing ships sound very encouraging. The fact is that the Azov and Yamal large landing ships were the last “working seals” of the Black Sea flotilla of Project 775,” Kovalenko noted.

He recalled that the Project 775 BDK is not just the main working vessel of the Russian fleet, but also a ship that Russia cannot produce, since during the USSR it was built at the Stocznia Północna shipyard – not in the Union, but in Poland, in Gdansk .

“Therefore, even if these ships did not sink to the bottom, but were damaged, repairing them, given certain damage, is simply unrealistic. The Black Sea Fleet… The Black Sea Flotilla… The Shipbuilding Circle…,” the expert wrote.
