Australia Should Do More for Ukraine

June 15, 2024

Australian businessman shocked by what he saw in Ukraine and his country’s feeble level of interest and support.

Prominent Australian businessman, investor, and humanitarian, James Baiilieu, recently visited Ukraine for the second time since Russia’s full-scale invasion to see first hand where support is most needed. He was shocked by the devastation and suffering that isn’t making the news in Australia. He believes that a rich country like Australia, which needs Ukraine to win for its own regional security, has a moral obligation to do more, but notes that it hasn’t even reopened its embassy in Kyiv.

  1. Australia’s sour old socialist PM Anthony Albanese actually visited Ukraine, met Zel and promised to help.
Since then he’s given $100m. Well whoopee do!
Piss poor. So I agree with the statement and agree with Mr Baiilieu.
Australians have visited the KP comments section to express their support too.

  2. Australia is a part of the West that is still sound asleep to reality. They are (rightfully) worried about bat virus land’s aggressive behavior in their part of the world. But, the Australian government utterly fails to see the correlation of a Ukrainian defeat AND an INCREASE of chinese aggression in the region. If mafia land should be successful in Ukraine, this would set off a domino effect across the globe, which will affect Australia negatively, as well as S. Korea, Taiwan, Japan, the US and everyone else in the free world.
